Torc Café and Food Hall was
established in Longford Town in 1997 by its owner Ruth McGarry-Quinn.
Our extensive premises are located on New Street on the way into
Longford Town, on the left hand side after you pass St. Mel's
Cathedral.
The Café has a relaxed atmosphere, serving simply good food with
the aroma of fresh roast coffee and chocolate from our free
flowing fountain. Our food hall is stocked with a range of
speciality foods from Ireland and around the world and our
selection of home-made cakes and tasty treats are a talking
point for all our customers.

We have been voted amount the top ten cafes in Ireland Food &
Wine Magazine and have also featured on many occasions in the
Irish Times and the Bridgestone Irish Food Guide. We carry an
extensive range of our own handmade products from truffles to
preserves and of course our famous house dressing. We also
supply luxury cakes to order.
Our gift department is a "must" for any occasion, whether its
a special anniversary, an excuse for self indulgence or just a
nice way to tell someone in a tasty way that you love them! Gift
vouchers are also available for any amount. Food and wine
hampers are on sale throughout the year and out Christmas
